The Ray White Surfers Paradise Muscular Dystrophy Charity Ball 2021
On Saturday 11 September we were fortunate enough to able to host over 700 guests at our annual Ray White Surfers Paradise Muscular Dystrophy Ball after a hiatus in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year we were absolutely blown away by the support shown by the Gold Coast community and our wider RWSP community throughout Australia. Raising a record $303,000 on the night for the Queensland Muscular Dystrophy Association was mind blowing and we can’t thank everyone who donated and attended enough for making this possible.
The funds raised are desperately needed to purchase equipment to support children living with Muscular Dystrophy. Thank you to the countless thousands who have got behind our fundraising efforts over the years and who have worked with us in building a magnificent Gold Coast community.
Core to the culture of the Ray White Surfers Paradise Group is our commitment to our community. For 32-years across so many platforms from educational institutions, to supportive sporting clubs ranging from Nippers to Olympians, and in particular to groups who provide vital services such as caring for the homeless, those affected by domestic violence, through to people with debilitating disease and illnesses – we have always been there in support. Indeed, well over $7 million has been raised and countless hundreds of hours have been provided to make the Gold Coast community a more caring and supportive community and one we can all be proud of.
