Main Beach's Tedder Avenue is getting into the racing spirit ahead of the Armor All Gold Coast 600 racing carnival.
Tedder Avenue is a hot spot for local celebrities wanting to enjoy boutique shopping and al fresco restaurants, and the avenue will provide plenty of opportunity to enjoy a pre- or post-race drink or meal.
The trendy area is already getting everything in motion ahead of the Gold Coast 600 and will be hosting a Latin-inspired street festival to top off the celebrations.
Residents of Main Beach real estate can easily pop down and enjoy a Latin Dance lesson or sit back and watch a dance display.
The Gold Coast's best Latin musicians will be on hand to provide an appropriate ambiance for the event.
Bring the kids down from your Surfers Paradise property – there will be plenty to do to keep them entertained and they are sure to love watching the stilt walkers and fire blowers.
The festival starts at 4 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m. on Sunday October 20 and if you find yourself with the munchies during this time, you can sample some tapas at the festival or get a bite from one of Tedder Avenue's many restaurants.
