Ray White Surfers Paradise steals global number one title

Multi-award winning real estate agency Ray White Surfers Paradise (RWSP) Group has stolen the global title as Number 1 Office Internationally Based On Number Of Sales at the prestigious Ray White International Awards.

Up against more than 1,050 international Ray White offices at the event, the leading Gold Coast agency has walked away with over 10 awards including Property Management Team Of The Year Internationally and Number 3 Office Internationally Based On Settled Sales Value.

RWSP has won the most awards of any agency and has proven to be the most consistent performer in the entire Ray White network – holding the number one title on 27 occasions over almost 30 years.

CEO of RWSP Andrew Bell said the award reflects the agency’s growing market share and strength on a global scale.

“We are very proud of building the strongest agency in the city, developing not only our local strength but most importantly for the Gold Coast our national and international arms to maximise the number of buyers,” Mr Bell said.

“It’s humbling to be named the number one agency world-wide and it’s an achievement we will continue to build on,” he said.

Ray White Commercial, also owned by the RSWP group, was internationally recognised as Auction Office Of The Year and Top Commercial Property Management Office Of The Year Internationally with a number of its commercial agents also recognised.

Emma Wilson walked away as Commercial Property Manager of the Year while Jared Johnson and Lachlan Marshall were named Sales Rising Stars of the Year.

Ray White Commercial agents were also ranked internationally with Michael Willems securing Number 2 Agent Internationally as well as Top Auction Performer and the Chairman’s Elite Member Award.

Matt Gates secured Number 5 Agent Internationally and the Chairman’s Elite Member Award.

Mr Bell said the awards were a great opportunity to identify the strengths of the RWSP Group and its individuals.

“These well-deserved awards are attributed to each individual’s drive and ambition combined with RWSP’s focus on enhancing the professional and personal skills of the staff across the group,” he said.

“We’ll continue to invest in each of our staff to ensure their ongoing success and the overall success of the company.”

The Ray White International Awards were held over two nights at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on Sunday August 12 and Monday August 13.

RWSP is also a four-time recipient of the REIQ’s Queensland Agency of the Year Award and was last year named Business of the Year at the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards.
