Golf enthusiasts who reside in Surfers Paradise property are in luck. The city is set to hold Australia's PGA golf championship so they can watch world class golfers tee off on the local green.
The PGA championship will be played at the RACV Royal Pines Resort which features three 18 hole combinations – a great facility for golfers in the area.
If you want to catch a glimpse of the professionals at play, the course will be open to the public for practice days on November 4 and 5 and the pro-am game on November 6. From November 7 -10 there will be one round played per day.
The first in and best dressed will have first access to the grandstands, so anyone with real estate in Surfers Paradise might want to take the opportunity to get dolled up.
However, it is worth being aware that mobile phones must be turned off or put onto silent mode during play and as per tradition, cameras are prohibited at the event.
The prestigious PGA is an important fixture on the Gold Coast sporting calendar this spring and only further cements the region as a sporting destination.
