Cavill Avenue

Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Cavill Avenue is a central hub of for shopping, entertainment and culture. Popular with locals and tourists alike, there's something for everyone in the street – which is closed to traffic, making a huge outdoor mall space.

Live music and arts permeate the street, with something happening at every interval. Buskers and street performers bring the mall alive during the day, while the evening sees nightclubs and arcades open late for after-dark entertainment.

Furthermore, the surrounding streets are populated by tattoo parlours, food stalls, surfboard stores and a wide range of other shopping options – making the space a veritable smorgasbord of places to spend your time.

Chevron Renaissance

Another staple of the Surfers Paradise landscape, the Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre is a great place to spend a day over the weekend enjoying some shopping and soaking up live music. Every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening, the building comes alive with live music offering a mixture of classic hits, folk tunes and jazzy numbers, which could offer a wonderful evening out with friends or family.

This happens between 6 and 9pm, offering the perfect accompaniment to dinner or simply a few drinks to pass the time while you enjoy the atmosphere. And when coupled with two hours free parking and the wide range of shopping and food options in the space, what more could you be looking for?

Surfers Paradise Beach

When people think of Surfers Paradise, the first thought conjured is often of the three kilometre stretch of white beach running alongside the city.
