Apart from the stunning ocean-view vistas that Surfers Paradise property offers its residents, there is also a great lifestyle available to those who live locally.
However, many people living in the area are unaware that there are such great community facilities being provided to them.
The City of Gold Coast has over 170 free and low cost health and fitness activities available across the region.
Recently, the council announced that it will be hosting a new program for the community in order to boost the fitness and health levels of participants.
The Active & Healthy program will be hosted at a number of locations right across the Gold Coast, so residents of both Surfers Paradise and Main Beach real estate and more have access to these services.
"With the launch of the new program this Monday, we are keen to let as many residents as possible know about the activities on offer and how easy it is to get involved," said Gold Coast mayor Tom Tate.
"The program's emphasis is on energy and enjoyment. The activities are not only a fantastic way to increase wellbeing, they're also a chance to meet new people and have a lot of fun."
The first of the activities begins on July 25 at Miami High School, where Mona Hecke from Lunchbox Revolution will be demonstrating healthy recipes.
