Enjoy the beach life in Surfers Paradise property

By Andrew Bell

Ask anyone with a Surfers Paradise property what their favourite part is about living in the region and chances are, its world-class beaches will get a mention. Of course, the area has plenty more going for it than golden sands and clear waters, but this could play a major part in your decision to move there.

What makes Surfers Paradise beach so great

Make the move to Surfers Paradise and you'll have three kilometres of golden sand within easy reach. There's the Pacific Ocean quite literally at your feet, which is great for a paddle during those scorching summer days.

Although the beach might be at its best in the summer months, it can certainly be enjoyed all-year round. Swimmers, joggers and surfers like to head down to Surfers Paradise no matter what season it is and as a local, you could find yourself doing the same!

What's more, Surfers Paradise Surf Life Saving Club is on hand to make sure you can enjoy the area. They're around throughout the year, and from 7am to 6pm during the summer months.

It's more than just a beach

While the beach might be a major attraction if you're in search of Surfers Paradise rentals, you'll be glad to hear there's plenty more going on in this particular part of the Gold Coast.

One of the highlights among locals and visitors alike is the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets, which operate on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings throughout the year. More than 100 market stalls set up along the beachfront from 3pm to 8pm, making it the ideal place for an after-work stroll.

That's not all there are also plenty of live entertainers lining the way, so you can enjoy a spot of singing or dancing as you browse. The Gold Coast is so popular because of its excellent year-round climate, and events such as this ensure you can make the most of it.

A number of programs take place around Surfers Paradise on an annual basis. Surf life saving competitions are a regular fixture, as is the Gold Coast 600 V8 Supercars race. You will never be short of things to do – plus, it's a great way to meet other people who've moved into rental property in Surfers Paradise.

Families enjoy the outdoor lifestyle

With so many opportunities to get outdoors, it's perhaps not surprising that so many families choose Surfers Paradise as their home. From the clean beach to excellent local schools, there's certainly no shortage of reasons to relocate your brood to this particular part of Queensland.

It also doesn't matter whether your children are still young or in their teenage years:, as there's always something to keep everybody entertained. Take the kids up to Tallebudgera Creek for a splash in the shallow, clear waters, or enjoy a picnic at Burleigh Heads National Park.

In fact, there's so much to get involved in that the biggest task you're likely to have is deciding what to do first. If you don't feel like going too far, there's always the beach as a fall-back option!
