Celebrate The End Of Summer At The Bleach Festival

By Andrew Bell

Residents living in Surfers Paradise property looking for an exciting, action-packed festival to enjoy in March are in luck; this year's Bleach celebration is set to be an experience unlike anything else.

The program features a smorgasbord of live music, pop-up art, installations, exhibitions, outdoor films, street parties and theatre. Prepare your mind and your senses for three mega weekends of stimulation and enjoyment.

Running from March 7 to 23, the festival is spread along the breadth of the Northern Gold Coast, giving you an opportunity to soak up as much or as little as you like!

The opening party alone is gearing up to be a fantastic time. With live performances from three of Australia's hottest up-and-coming acts, including Elizabeth Rose, The Trouble With Templeton and Hey Geronimo, this could be a great way to round out the summer months for 2014.

Furthermore, the Queensland Theatre Company will present a touching adaptation of 'Stradbroke Dreamtime' by Oodgeroo, which portrays stories about the life of the Noonuccal tribe and the author's own experiences of growing up on Stradbroke Island.

This festival is something not to be missed by anyone who loves to indulge in artistic pursuits and enjoyable, live experiences in the wake of summer.
