Issue 01 | Thursday 13 January 2022 | 150+ New Gold Coast Real Estate Listings
Whilst wishing you a Happy New Year, perhaps it’s more appropriate to say “What an amazing start to the new year”. We have had more of our fair share of rain and this year some strong winds. COVID has continued to create daily dramas and we are really starting to learn what living with COVID truly means. The cricket has been amazing and even the Australian Open. You can’t avoid controversy and creating worldwide headlines and wow, it’s only just the first fortnight of the New Year.
There’s been an extraordinary number of people visiting but it has been a holiday break. Not exactly how we expected it and it was added to by well over 400,000 visitors obtaining border passes to join us here in Queensland and so many of those of course have been with us here on the Gold Coast. Strangely enough, the inclement weather and desire not to socialise and attend outside venues, has seen more people focus their attention on real estate.
We have been listing additional properties to make up 150 properties that are now a part of The Event in our January 2022 program. Our sales team have been working for months securing a wide selection of some of the best properties on the Gold Coast whether you are looking for vacant land, apartments, villas, townhouses, general housing, prestige homes and this year we have even added commercial properties that are in such hot demand.
In fact, we are just confirming at present, but we understand that we have set a new world record for the greatest number of properties being submitted to auction on one day by one real estate company. In our 32 years of operating in the industry, we are used to putting the Gold Coast on the map and we are pleased to be doing it once again.
We are meeting so many of our interstate buyers and even now 22 months into the pandemic, we still have high levels of migration into the Gold Coast. There appears to be no end to the number of people wanting to be part of our amazing Gold Coast city and you are most welcome! But move fast because the reality is we are a limited and defined city where we have the Pacific Ocean to the east, our border to New South Whales to our south, a mountain range to our west and just a small corridor to the north. We are rapidly running out of any development land and of course where there is further scope for high rise development, everybody wants that high rise development somewhere along that 52km stretch of beachline. Even that beachline is limited. Because of the constant rise in demand for our limited amount of real estate, our prices keep rising so delays in securing your property just means you are going to have to pay more in the future.
We are rapidly moving towards The Auction Event itself. We have two days of auctions with the first auction on Sunday 23rd January, with doors opening at 10am at Royal Pines Resort in Benowa.
We kindly remind all attendees that all licensed premises now require proof of double vaccination for entry. It’s always one of the most amazing days in real estate anywhere in the country each year. Don’t miss out on being part of it.
We also have the following Friday 28th January evening starting at 6pm which is the auction of our Prestige properties. This auction is held at the Sheraton Mirage Resort at Main Beach with doors opening at 5pm. We have some of the most amazing high-end Prestige properties and again you are invited to be a part of this but double vaccination is again required under Queensland State Government COVID-19 regulations.
For anyone who is not double vaccinated and wants to be part of either of these two days, reach out to our auction hotline on 1800 198 009 and we will help you with an alternative way to accommodate your interest.
So all that is left is to remind you is to visit the Event website to review all of our properties that are up for sale. I encourage you to get out this weekend and inspect our properties but again if there is anything we can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us on the Event hotline.
I know this is going to be a great year for the Gold Coast and we will look forward as we have done for the past 32 years to servicing not only the needs of all of our seller’s but assisting those buyers who dream of being part of our community.
Warm Regards,
