Navigating Gold Coast’s Property Landscape in 2024: Embracing The Spirit of The Event

Issue 25 | Thursday 14 December 2023 | Navigating Gold Coast’s Property Landscape in 2024: Embracing The Spirit of The Event

Hello there, Andrew Bell here, extending my heartfelt Seasons Greetings to you. In a year that has been challenging on multiple fronts – be it weather, politics, or international conflicts – smiles have been in short supply for many. Nevertheless, as Christmas approaches, my sincere hope is that you, your family, and friends find moments to pause, reflect on life’s important aspects, and share goodwill. Despite the adversities, the holiday season is what we make of it, independent of external circumstances. I trust that you radiate as a beacon of light and inspiration among your loved ones.

Switching gears, the Gold Coast property market has concluded the year on a robust note, maintaining its strength throughout. While it may not be the standout market in Australia, it undoubtedly ranks among the finalists. The reasons are straightforward – an increasing number of Australians view the Gold Coast as an ideal place for permanent residence or extended stays each year. Consequently, the demand for real estate seems insatiable, exacerbated by an inadequate supply of available properties for sale. Notably, this shortage is most pronounced in the middle market.

Looking ahead to 2024, the forecast doesn’t appear more promising than the preceding year. The insatiable demand for property is anticipated to persist, with the undersupply likely to endure unless more Gold Coasters decide to list their properties. While the high-interest rates are expected to impact households, the underlying factor shaping the market will remain the delicate balance of supply and demand.

In response to these market dynamics, we’ve diligently curated a remarkable selection of Gold Coast properties for our annual Event marketing program. The significance of this event is such that it has been trademarked, and despite attempts at replication by others, it stands as an iconic Gold Coast event. Representing the best selection of Gold Coast properties offered at any given time each year, we are still accepting bookings over the next two weeks for those interested in participating.

We are truly assembling an extraordinary array of properties. In my final eNews for the year on December 28th, we will showcase all the brand-new listings participating in The Event 2024. Mark your calendars now to ensure you don’t miss out on reviewing these listings. With the property shortage expected to persist in 2024, this event presents an unparalleled opportunity for buyers. The culmination of The Event is our auction at Royal Pines on January 28th, 2024, but don’t wait until then to inspect properties. A significant proportion of sales occur before the auction, so schedule your inspections early. For last-minute sellers, please reach out to The Event hotline for more details.

On behalf of myself, my brother Greg, Caitlin Rosenboom, Amber Roberts, Michael Andrews, and Jordan Thams – leaders in various property class segments – and our entire staff, we extend our sincere best wishes for the festive season. May you have a Merry Christmas in the truest essence of those words. Keep an eye out for our important eNews on December 28th.
