Head of Projects
After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and having worked for the Queensland Government in the same field from 1997 to 2000, Caitlin chose to pursue her passion for property in early 2000. Joining what was then PRD Inner City East based in the Brisbane suburb of Bulimba. A re-brand from the PRD group to establish a new company, Place Estate Agents, occurred in 2002. Bulimba was changing rapidly, with large areas of once commercial and industrial land being snapped up by developers who saw the enormous potential for the suburb given its spectacular river frontage and proximity to the CBD. These developers not only needed advice and recommendations from a local agency who could guide them as to the potential buyer demographic, but to assist in the entire process from site acquisition through to setting the project; off-the-sale marketing strategies; sales and settlement. As a result of this need, Caitlin, alongside CEO Damian Hackett, formed ‘New Places’; now known as Place Projects.
Caitlin managed, marketed and sold a number of key developments in the inner-East, working closely with developers including Watpac; Stockland; BMI Group; Urban Properties and Jadecorp, successfully appointed for the sales of projects in excess of $250 million. The projects which Caitlin managed, marketed and sold ranged from small, boutique one-per-floor riverfront apartments; large-scale staged projects of in excess of 200 apartments; vacant land releases; house and land packages and mixed-use projects. Caitlin has aligned herself with high-quality developments and has been recognized for her professionalism and attention to detail throughout the entire process by colleagues and clients alike.
Since leaving Place in 2011, Caitlin has spent time in Victoria with her family and is now permanently based on the Gold Coast. During the ensuing years, Caitlin has aligned herself with premium real estate brands, Jellis Craig and McGrath Estate Agents, as well as undertaking a Post-Graduate Diploma (Monash) and Masters’ Degree (Swinburne University).
Caitlin has a clear strategic vision in place for her new role as the Head of Projects for Ray White. Caitlin has increased the size of the Project sales team significantly since her appointment, with the immediate effect of an increased rate of sale and an influx of interest from local developers approaching Ray White to assist in the sales and marketing of their projects. Caitlin’s history of providing the highest possible level of service and attention to her clients and sales teams will spearhead the future success of Ray White Projects on the Gold Coast.
