The Enerflex MS Brissie to the Bay charity bike ride will be held in Brisbane once more this year, with over 5,000 riders taking part.
The bike ride is an annual event that raises money for support services and research for multiple sclerosis (MS).
This year it will be held on Sunday June 23 and kick off at Musgrave Park in South Brisbane.
Participants have four courses to choose from ranging from 10 to 100 kilometres, with this year's event already raising more than $750,000 of the $1.2 million target.
The event will be a great opportunity for those with real estate in Surfers Paradise or other areas on the Gold Coast to have some fun and support a great cause.
Lincoln Hopper, MS Queensland chief executive, says the Brissie to the Bay ride is instrumental in raising critical funds for Queenslanders living with MS.
"In the months leading up to the event, riders collect donations from their friends, family and co-workers to help make a significant difference in the lives of people living with MS; an incurable disease," Mr Hopper said in a June 17 statement.
"The cost of staging the ride event is covered by registration fees, so all money raised goes directly to support services and research projects into finding a cure for multiple sclerosis."
