The City of Gold Coast will be hosting an event for residents of Surfers Paradise property and surrounding areas in order to obtain ideas for how to improve the region's culture.
The Turn it Up event will take place this Saturday (August 10) at the brand new Helensvale Library and Cultural Centre, which opened its doors to the public last month.
It will feature live music from local artists, as well as some video submissions for the council's latest cultural initiative.
At the event, visitors will be encouraged to contribute to the city's Draft Culture Strategy 2013-2023, which gives a chance for residents to have their say on the future of the city.
Those that cannot attend the event will have until August 16 to comment on the draft strategy.
"Helensvale Library and Cultural Centre, the venue for Saturday's event, is a vibrant new cultural hub for the north and just one way that the City is increasing opportunities for our community to create, experience and enjoy arts and culture," said Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate in an August 6 statement.
This is a great opportunity for Gold Coast and Main Beach real estate residents to submit their ideas on how the city can improve itself.
